John Kerr, the first American ever to play in the top division in England, will be the guest in a future episode of the EPL Talk Podcast, the only Premier League interview show on the Internet.
Kerr is a trailblazer in the history of American soccer. He made his debut for Portsmouth in 1987, five years before the Premier League began and three years before John Harkes signed with Sheffield Wednesday. While in England, Kerr also played for Peterborough, Wycombe, Millwall and Walsall.
Kerr, son of NASL player John Kerr Sr., earned sixteen caps for the U.S. national team and also played at Dallas Burn and New England Revolution as well as several other clubs. He is now the head coach of the Duke University soccer team.
If you have any questions you’d like to ask John Kerr, please post them here and we’ll select the best questions to ask on-air to John.
