Manchester City welcome Fulham to the Etihad Stadium on Saturday, with coverage plans available for those in the United States.

It is set to be a matchup between two of the best performing teams in the Premier League. Pep Guardiola’s charges have been sensational, despite sitting second. Erling Haaland’s goalscoring form has been staggering.

However, Fulham are quietly having a brilliant campaign. Marco Silva has steered the newly promoted team to seventh after 13 games.

Fulham are outperforming Brighton and Liverpool, and currently sit just two points behind Chelsea.

Silva’s usual brand of attacking football won’t necessarily work against Manchester City. They will have to be more pragmatic. Guardiola meanwhile will not alter his approach at all.

Comparing Manchester City and Fulham’s recent form

Manchester City expect to eventually overhaul Arsenal at the top of the table. However, their recent form hasn’t been flawless.

After a 1-0 defeat at Anfield on October 16, Manchester City have won back-to-back Premier League games.

They were at their blistering best in a 3-1 home triumph over Brighton. All before grinding out a 1-0 win away to Leicester City without Haaland.

Fulham’s last defeat came way back on October 9 in a 3-1 slump away to rivals West Ham. Although, the Cottagers have since been unbeaten in four.

A 2-2 draw with Bournemouth was followed by two successive wins against Aston Villa and Leeds United.

In their most recent outing, Silva’s charges drew 0-0 at home to Everton.

Predicted line-ups

Manchester City don’t have any fresh absentees ahead of Fulham’s arrival. Kalvin Phillips and Kyle Walker are both out injured, whilst Haaland will return to action.

Meanwhile, Fulham are still without Manor Solomon and Layvin Kurzawa. The pair continue to be long-term injury doubts. Bobby Reid will also miss out due to suspension.

Manchester City’s predicted starting XI (4-3-3): Ederson, Akanji, Stones, Laporte, Cancelo, Rodri, Gundogan, De Bruyne, Bernardo Silva, Mahrez, Haaland

Fulham’s predicted starting XI (4-2-3-1): Leno, Mbabu, Diop, Ream, Robinson, Palhinha, Reed, Kebano, Pereira, Willian, Mitrovic
