Where can I watch the Atlas game?
Liga MX in the US airs on a variety of different channels and platforms.
The bulk of league games can be found on TelevisaUnivision TV channels – that’s Univision, UniMás, and TUDN. The streaming service ViX has additional exclusive matches.
Chivas home games though are exclusive to Telemundo and Peacock in the US. That means away derby matches are always on those platforms.
FOX Deportes and FS1/FS2 also carry select Liga MX matches. FS1/2 games are the only spot, as of late 2023, you can watch Liga MX games in English.
Fubo and DirecTV Stream each have all the networks that show matches on TV, so you can catch most league games with one of the two services.
The CONCACAF Champions Cup airs on FOX Sports networks – FS1, FS2, and FOX Deportes.
The Leagues Cup can be found in its entirety on MLS Season Pass. Select matches are simulcast on FOX and Univision TV networks.

Atlas History
Atlas Fútbol Club was founded by a group of friends in a bar in Guadalajara in 1916. They chose the name “Atlas” based on the titan from Greek mythology.
It would be nearly a half-century before the club won its first major title – the Copa MX in 1946. Five years later, and after another Copa triumph, Atlas conquered the league for the first time. The joy was short-lived, though, as they were relegated just two seasons after their title. Atlas did however immediately earn promotion back to the top flight.
A further pair of cup titles came along in the 1960s, and then it would be quite the drought for the club. They would not taste glory again until league titles in the 2021 Apertura and 2022 Clausura campaigns.
Atlas competed in South America’s Copa Libertadores three times – 2000, 2008, and 2015, making the quarterfinals in their first two trips.
Shortly after their first league title in 70 years, fan violence sadly marred the image of the club. A violent riot broke out during an away match at Querétaro, resulting in severe injuries for at least 22 fans. It resulted in closed-door home matches for Querétaro for a year, their supporters being banned for three years, while Atlas supporters groups were hit with a six-month ban.
Atlas’ main rivals are Chivas, who also play in Guadalajara, in the Clásico Tapatío. The rivalry dates back to 1916, making it one of the oldest in Mexico. For fifty years, both clubs shared the Estadio Jalisco – the third-largest stadium in the country. Chivas has since moved out, making Atlas the sole tenant. The venue hosted matches at both the 1970 and 1986 FIFA World Cups – including a semifinal match in both tournaments.
